Dunja Weber (b. 1973) graduated as an Industrial Designer in 1998, from Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. That same year, her “Sitting Bull” project won her an internship with Cassina in Meda, bringing her to Milan where she lives and works to this day. In Milan she collaborated with industrial designers Marco Ferreri and Stefano Giovannoni before working alongside James Irvine for 8 years. In 2007 she eventually set up her own studio in Milan, working in the fields of furniture, industrial and exhibition design as well as art-direction. She also teaches design at the Politecnico di Milano and the Istituto Europeo di Design. One of her major interests is the dialogue between design and craftsmanship.
