Brian Rasmussen

Brian Rasmussen was born in Denmark, in 1973. He graduated from The Royal Academy of Architecture in Copenhagen, in 2000. In 2002 he finished second in the national architecture competition "CHRISTIAN D. IV'S BRYGHUS" and decided to open his own office of architecture and design in Venice. In 2003 he started a research project "The meeting point between Roman Baroque and Nordic classicism". This project became the theoretical and morphological foundation for many of his design projects. In 2004 he won the TARGETTI LIGHT ART AWARD, launching his career as lighting designer.
