Alessandro Lenarda was born in Venice, in 1939. After classical and musical studies, he graduated with a degree in Architecture. He now deals almost exclusively with design, focusing in particular on glass, furniture, lighting, bathroom and street furnishings. He is a member of the Academy Tiberina in Rome, the ADI and the BEDA (Bureaux of European Designers Associations). He exhibited at the Venice International Biennale in 1964, 1966, 1970, 1972, and at the Centenary Biennale in 1995. He was awarded the "Compasso d'Oro". Some of his works are featured in museum collections in Venice, Milan, Munich, London and New York.
